i'm not very sure of the address of the shop we went to but it's at parklane shopping centre level 1. prices are at $15 for an A1 poster. student price i think. but i think price may be slightly different coz he said $16/pc at first.
like i say, he thought we will be printing our brochures there.
haha.
anw, our TP supervisor went m'sia few days ago so all the emails we sent were not replied.
by the time she replied, our posters and questionnaires were printed.
any changes she want to make also cannot.
and she dont contact us at all.
WE contact her.
i wonder if she knows what we are going to do in the first place.

gotta prepare everything before delivering all the stuffs over to the CC.

today, we finally printed our super big A1 posters!!
first time doing such a big size 1.
each poster is 200MB+ okayy...
soooooooooo, we took pics together with it!!

spent the whole morning waiting for it to be printed at parklane..
and feel so bad coz the printer shop uncle thought we will be going back to print the brochures and gave us a cheaper price.
end up our NUH supervisor say too expensive.
he's a nice uncle though.
hahaha..
i hope he forgets we are going back.
i seriously need sleep.

thinking about popping down to NUH everyday next week makes me feel sian.
imagine travelling all the way to buona vista.

she said the food there cannot make it.

and there's no wireless at her hostel too.
we end up talking about moving to our new house sometime next year.

finally a time to update while i wait for my file to save.
an A1 size poster take about 10mins to save okay..
i almost wanted to smack my com.
i spent 8hrs doing the bloody posters on wednesday so as to get it done for the dietitian to finalise everything on thurs.
8hrs meaning from 10pm+ at night till 6am+ the next day.
until my sis actually wakes up for school.
slept for a few hrs before it's time to go NUH.
today is the longest time we spent there.
usually we show her our progress and everything then we would leave.
attended a talk on trans fat then stayed there doing the brochure till 5.30.
hopefully the brochure alignment can be done!
to add more depth to our MP, so our adjunct lecturer says, after the educational booth on the 29th, there's still evaluation to be done AND a trans fat database.
database meaning to look through FOODs in supermarket to find out their trans fat content.
FOODs.. imagine how many.
and before that i thought after the booth and evaluation our MP would end...
but anw, it's MAJOR PROJECT.
it has to be MAJOR and full of DEPTH what...
i'm just worried when we get to the supermarket i'll end up like buying lots of things home.
HAHA.
in the midst of saving the 2nd poster.............
yay finally there's a rest day for me.
but dont feel like staying at home.
guess i have no choice.
next week is gonna be so busy.
have to go down to NUH everyday!
just hope the booth will be successful.
argh.
feel like having cheesecake.

proposal interview ended!
PHEW~
evaluator 1 was mdm kalpana.
and i think she's quite nice.
she gave some comments and ideas on how we can make more depth in our MP since ours look more like some kind of assignment instead of a MAJOR PROJECT.
so now we have an additional trans fat database to do plus the booth on the 29th.
and the booth evaluation seems to be not so taxing now.
it's a good thing coz it was supposed to be like the MAJOR part of the project previously.

today was back to aranda chalet after sch.
sat in the car for like 3 hrs plus while going ard picking up people.
nice oreo cheesecake from cheesecake cafe!

sort of had more stuffs to add onto our MP after meeting up with our supervisor for the first time.
she's an adjunct lecturer, Mrs Foo (or Mrs Fou from the email Mrs C replied us).
i think she once taught in TP before then retire then come back again (for what?!?!).
so, proposal was lacking in some stuffs and they decide to give us another day to touch up on it.
so we handed in today (which is tuesday btw).
proposal interview, thursday 3pm.
ARGH.
dunno what the evaluator is gonna ask us.
):
gotta finish up the posters by today.
so can send a copy over the NUH tomorrow.
then at least we'll be free-er during the weekends.
another meet up at NUH on monday.
received an email from xin today!
glad that she's okay in Beijing now.
hopefully the conditions will be better when she reach sanya.

have to slowly accept the fact that MP is happening in a pace faster than i can imagine.
thinking about it, there are pros and cons regarding the duration of MP.
pros: MP will end earlier, and things will happen so fast that when i look back, i'll be glad it's over so soon.
cons: little time given to do all the stuffs we need. plus, not much help given on the other side. doing everything from scratch. all in 3 weeks time. stress levels will be sky high maybe.
to remind myself:
- mon 10th: proposal hand in to both NUH and TP. draft of posters; info to be printed on it.
- by the 17th, posters must be ready to be printed. in short, to be completed by next week.
- letters of sponsorship to companies for small gifts.
- questionnaire design for evaluation.
- and maybe a brochure if time permits.
- most likely every monday to be going back to NUH and another day in the week to show progress.
wish us luck people!

our MP officially starts on the 5th of sept.
got news of it on tuesday when Mrs C called me regarding the project.
arranged a meeting with the supervisor over at NUH thereafter.
so the meetup on wednesday morning.......
community outreach programme (i think) over at Yio Chu Kang CC on the 29th Sept.
i repeat, 29th SEPT.
we'll be doing heart health; trans fat, sat fat, cholesterol etc.
expected turnout of people 1000+ (i think).
3 weeks to do everything.
proposal due on monday.
things to do: designing posters from scratch, quesionnaires for evaluation, come up with sponsorship letters for free gifts and maybe more.
tell me, WHERE GOT PEOPLE DO MAJOR PROJECT USE 3 WEEKS ONE UH?!?!?!
although we still need to evaluate it after the 29th.
but the major parts are still in the 3 weeks!
other people use 2-3 months, we 3 weeks..

super stressed up.
lucky we do not have to go back to NUH everyday.
if not i T.T like mad uh.
maybe twice or thrice a week to show her our progress.
even more stressful to do there pls.
