i'm finally updating!

was posting halfway when BLOGGER decided to act on its own and close my browser.

then i gotta start all over again.

okay..

EXAMS ARE FINALLY OVER!

celebration after exams:

pastamania and singing session at KCC!

this time with shi xuan, elaine, bee geok, yan fen, yong ren, seng guan, shirleen, sin ee, yap min, jenny, sharon and me! although we got two separate rooms. and we took pictures!

got driven by seng guan on that day.
make me wanna learn driving. but no car also.

so i shall continue to delude myself that i'm gonna be driven by others. not the other way round.

the following day.

slept like nobody's business until 2PM+.

what can i say, shiok uh!

finally can have a nice sleep after so long.

few hrs later i was out to bedok meeting bella and xuan for saturday's preparation!

xin, your b'day preparation starts here!

we went to get xin's present before heading down to NTUC and some shop to get ingredients and materials for her BIRTHDAY CAKE.

then it was off to xuan's hse for baking!

we started off at around 7PM+..

made 2 layers, with mixed berry yogurt in the middle, whipped cream around the cake and finally, melted chocolate that writes her name.

all ended at 11PM+.

and we even bought the wrong cream.

we tried making those nice swirls of whipped cream at the top but i think no experience the swirls will sort of melt and disappeared.

and i love eating the whipped cream! and i know it contains lots of FATS.

it was a really nice experience baking..

lots of laughter!

after everything i lazy go home so bella and i stayed over at xuan house.

we started making xin's card and thinking of what to buy for steamboat on saturday.

this year, her birthday card in on the cake box itself.. haha~

this morning we went to get the steamboat ingredients.

i was awake at 9AM plus already.

9AM plus......

supposed to start steamboat-ing at my house. yes, my house, at 5PM but it started at 7PM instead.

end up the steamboat heater was faulty so xin's mum had to go get another one.

thanks so much because it was very paiseh that she had to specially go down help us take.

so all in all, steamboat-ing was a success.

this year we tried something new. we celebrate at home!

xuan say the soup has a homely feeling.. haha..

cake cutting session was very funny because they hid in my room to light the candles.

and when the cake finally got lit, the fan blew almost all out when the cake was on the way out.

next time we can have more steamboat sessions!
