CNY is not CNY without reunion dinner.
this year we had our reunion dinner at this chapanlang river view hotel i think.
food not worth the price, and the place is like so small.
cost $30+++ per person. i might as well go some other better international buffet.
but nevermind, we get to eat with the whole family. although we got like EIGHTEEN people so we split into two tables.
however, i got the experience of what a london cab is like.
london cab. small and compact.
first day of CNY was like so boring.
headed down to my mum's mum house for lunch in the afternoon.
then by the time we reacehd there the others left already.
BUT! my aunt brought her dog there~
AH~ very cute dog! response to his name, jump up and down when you take the leash and stares at you with those kind of teary, big eyes......
my rabbit dont do that you know.
ddint get to meet my cousins because we didnt go down to my father's uncle house.
my father's uncle which is like my dad's mum's brother.
i dont suppose many people have this relative. do you?
no cousins= no poker= no see dog= no ang baos= sian.
reached home after dinner at this coffee shop at blk88 which i think their food so much nicer and better then the buffet.
so you see, good food doesnt mean expensive food.
AS FOR TODAY, i went to my old house back in chai chee to visit our nanny!
since we moved, we rarely get to see her. once every CNY.
i think she's still healthy and i hope she stays this way, she not very young already. i guess most probably 70+.
then we go all the way to SGH to see my dad.
where we had another family gathering there.
finally met my cousins! =)
oh man, i have like really tall cousins that are 1.78m tall, like a bamboo and one looking like he came from hong kong.
they change quite alot, must be the hair color.
see, hair color does makes a difference!
wanted to play poker but it doesnt seem appropriate in the ward so we went down to the 7-11 to get some snacks.
one of my cousion had rice for snack. *faint*
AH~ those HIGH METABOLISM people..
went back to my mum's mum house for lunch again before going home.
i practically slept like a log when i reached home.
this year not much ang baos for me to take. =(
and i havent play my mahjong yet leh~
pig year, pig marshmallows.
sis-ter and me. with a fork in the middle. trying to give it an artistic feel. HAHAHA~
